Faucet water filters

While the filters get great reviews, all their faucet mounts get at most 4 stars, with the 4 stars one being obsoleted by a model that gets 3 stars.

32 5-star reviews (albeit many from clueless folks who reviewed Amazon's delivery), 3 4-stars, none less than that
+ use the spray to prevent hard water stains
+ better design than PUR: no cracks or leaks after year(s) of use
+ green/red light indicator of when to replace the filter, but powered by non-replaceable battery which fails sooner than the advertised 5 years
+ spray option
- scarcely available in stores; many reviewers ordered from Amazon because of that

no spray feature to avoid hard water stains on washed dishes; just use the normal stream
very low water pressure; also lower for non-filtered water
3-4 times slower than Brita, which explains its reliability; still, faster than PUR; general agreements on slowness
metallic connector but again, slow water flow
no indicator for when to replace the filter
automatic switch to unfiltered mode when turning the faucet off, but that feature tends to break

UV water "purator". Needs to be plugged in. Can be mounted under the sink or above.
