List of TED talks
TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is an annual, invitation-only conference devoted to "ideas worth spreading". TED is famous for its lectures, known as TED Talks, which originally focused on technology, entertainment and design, but have now expanded in scope to a broad set of topics including science, arts, politics, education, culture, business, global issues, technology and development. Speakers have included such people as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Nobel laureates James D. Watson, Jane Goodall, and Al Gore, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and Billy Graham.
How to watch all TED talks
Apparently, TED talks are organized in a pool of tagged videos. But suppose you want to watch all of them; is there an easy way to do that? It turns out there is: each TED talk has a number associated with it. If you view the HTML source of the talk's page, search for "entity" and you'll see something like this:
<a dojoType="form:ShareThis" reqEntity="talks" entityId="591" ...
That entity is the talk number, and you can plug in into this URL:
There is a Google Spreadsheet with a list of all TED talks, their duration, date of release, and short summary.
